Reiki can be practiced from a distance; it is even more appropriate than touch when the patient has a cognitive impairment. Marielle Savard can connect with Skype if it is the customer’s desire. She suggests Reiki treatments when one is facing stressful transitions. And relocating, especially when it is essential due to declining health but not welcomed is stressful.

Rates are 75$ for half an hour; it includes the health form verification and feedback after the treatment. Four sessions cost 280$. It can be split between the caregiver and the elder. One session before the move and one session after the move are ideal.
